Nikola Mirotic

Although he started playing at the age of 13 at the Joker School of Basketball in Podgorica (Montenegro), his city of birth, he soon stood out. In the summer of 2005 he joined the youth categories of Real Madrid, a team with which he played in the ACB until he signed with the Chicago Bulls in 2014.

Here he began a five-season stint in the NBA, with a total of 359 games played (319 in the regular league and 40 in the playoffs) and overall averages of 12 points and 5 rebounds per game.

His first stint in the NBA, from 2014 to February 2018, was with the Chicago Bulls -260 games-, before being traded to the New Orleans Pelicans, a team with which he played one season (from February 2018 to February 2019). Finally, the Montenegrin's last NBA stint was with the Milwaukee Bucks. Because only 5 months after this change of team, Nikola Mirotic became the new signing of FC Barcelona.

With Spanish nationality, the power forward, in addition, was proclaimed champion of Eurobasket 2015 with Spain and won the bronze medal at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
